Ongoing projects

Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre is an internationally active, multilingual VET school with flexible schemes for lifelong learning. We are open to cooperation both at international and local level, implementing projects as a coordinator and participating as a partner in projects.

Ida-Virumaa VET Centre has implemented a huge number of projects under various European Union programs (Leonardo da Vinci, Interreg, Comenius, Grundtvig, Erasmus +, etc.) and has a team of experienced project managers, which provides a solid basis for project work.

Increasing the competitiveness of learners and staff of Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre

 

                                               Project nr: 2020-1-EE01-KA102-077743

                                               Project period: 01.06.2020 – 31.05.2021

The aims of the project are to organize mobilities which will result in high-competitiveness of the learners and staff at Ida-Virumaa Vocational Education Centre; to disseminate information to both Estonian and foreign students about the best learning conditions and the school that supports the professional development of staff and develops international cooperation.

The best 2nd- and 3rd-year students in the following curricula will participate in the project in the 2020/2021 academic year:

  • carpenter
  • finishing works in construction
  • chef
  • baker-confectioner
  • IT systems specialist
  • software developer
  • hairdresser
  • tiler
  • warehouse worker
  • electrician
  • mechatronics
  • motor vehicle technician
  • junior multimedia specialist

61 learners will practice at companies and 16 students will learn at vocational schools. Besides, 27 staff members will go for studies to our partner schools and companies. Within the project we will cooperate with our good partners in Italy, Austria, Spain, Slovenia, Latvia, Lithuania, Great Britain, Portugal, France, Hungary.
